Empire Education Group’s National Competition & Hair Show, a student competition and tradeshow event, began in 2005 at Madison Square Garden in the hub of New York City, with nearly 1,000 student attendees.

Creating Opportunities

The event focused on student competitions with a modest exhibition floor and minimal classrooms. As Empire Education Group grew and increased the number of newly created schools and students, Empire’s National Competition was moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during 2006 and 2007.

 

Over 1,800 student attendees convened for a grander experience in competitions, classroom instruction and exhibitor showcases. In 2008, Empire Education Group virtually doubled in size and student population. The Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, offered one of the largest meeting places in the region to accommodate the nearly 2,000 students, 75 vendors and exhibitors and the closed-door workshops and seminars.

 

To offer the anticipated 3,000 Empire student attendees more opportunities to become acquainted with industry partners, potential employers, manufacturers, and industry professionals; Empire Education Group changed the focus and drive of The National Competition and name to the Future Professionals Expo for 2009.

2010- Empire’s Future Professionals Expo introduces students to esteemed professional product manufacturers, vendors and beauty professionals, and offers you the opportunity to develop business prospects with our students, faculty, guests and industry partners. Introduce our students to your products, services and develop potential relationships, prospective employees, and exposure to fresh, new markets. We added more classrooms, an even larger show floor, the new Network Café and so much more!
